To copy files from your iPod to your computer manually:

1. Start MediaWidget.

2. Click the tab that has the files you want to copy.
  You can copy files from one MediaWidget tab at a time.

3. Select the files you want to copy.
  To select more than one file, press and hold the Ctrl key as you click each file. To select all files on the tab in MediaWidget, click the check box in the column heading.
  Note: If files with the same name already exist in the target location, they will be overwritten.

4. In the Button Bar, click Copy to PC.
  The Browse for Folder window displays.

5. Navigate to the folder you want to copy the files to and click OK.
  The Media Transfer window displays, showing the progress of the copy.

6. Click Done to close the Media Transfer window.

7. Repeat steps 2 through 6 for type of files you want to copy.

Using the iPod to Computer Transfer Wizard

The iPod to Computer Transfer Wizard automatically displays whenever you start MediaWidget. The wizard guides you through copying files from your iPod to your computer. If you do not want to copy files, click Cancel.

Note: If you have playlists that you want to transfer and retain as playlists, you must use the wizard and you must transfer the files to iTunes.

To use the iPod to Computer Transfer Wizard:
1. Start the wizard one of the following ways:
  Start MediaWidget.
  With MediaWidget already started, click iPod Transfer Wizard in the Button Bar.
  The Welcome to the iPod to Computer Transfer Wizard window displays.

2. Click Next.
  The Select Destination window displays.

3. Select one of the following options and click Next.

Option	Description
Directly Back to iTunes	Copies the files you select into iTunes on your computer. Use this option to copy playlists that you have created or changed using MediaWidget to iTunes.
Into a Single Folder on My PC	Copies all of the files you select into one folder on your computer. Click "Folder" to select the folder.
Into Separate Folders on My PC	Copies each type of file you select into the folder you select for that type of file. Click "Folder" to select the folders

  The Select Media Types window displays.

4. Select which types of files you want to transfer and click Next.
  The wizard will transfer all files of the each type you select.
  The Confirm Transfer window displays.

5. Review the copy settings listed and click Finish.
  If you want to change a setting, click Back.
  The Media Transfer window displays showing he progress of the file copy.

6. Click Done.
